Continue to Süleymaniye Mosque, the largest mosque in Istanbul, and a masterpiece of Sinan, chief architect of the Ottoman Empire. Built during 16th-Century, in the name of Süleyman The Magnificent, the mosque dominates the 3rd hill of Istanbul, and is studded with domes, semi-domes, and elegant arches.
