Greetings Travelers! If this is your first time in this area, do yourself a favor and book this tour with Ozgur! If this is your 100th time…still…book with Ozgur! He is the consummate professional and very flexible!

I was putting some tours together for the first time and visiting Turkey for the first time. I hired Ozgur on a recommendation from a friend. So glad that I did! I was able to design my own itinerary…as we did not want to go the the carpet factory and waste any time being bombarded by sales pitches. However, If you are in the market for a beautiful hand made rug…..go for it!

Ozgur was very informative the entire day and we kept in constant communication making changes that would benefit the tour when necessary.

We went to Ephesus…SPECTACULAR. There is something about standing in the same theatre where the apostle Paul first preached the Gospel to the Ephesians, that just made me stand in awe. Not too many times that you get to stand smack dab in the middle of biblical history. Don’t miss this!…and pay the few extra euros to go inside the Terrace Houses! Well worth it! Amazing what they have excavated over the years! You will get a real sense of life as they lived it by walking through there.

We also went to see the house of the Virgin Mary…supposedly the last house that she lived in. Originally, we were going to go there first but reversed it and went there after Ephesus! Great decision. There was hardly anyone there in the afternoon! I can’t imagine trying to navigate that place for parking when all the busses are there! Yikes! It’s a beautiful drive up that hill but the fact that there were so few people allowed me to feel more of a sense of reverence for the place.

We asked Ozgur to take us to a little out-of-the-way restaurant to experience the local food…it was fantastic! Just what we wanted. The food is Delish!

Of course Ozgur was on time and took care to make sure that every one was taken care of throughout the entire trip.

I have had a few not-so-great experiences with tour companies and would never recommend anyone who gave less than 100%. Ozgur gets my full approval! I can’t wait to go back and have him take us to see some of what we missed the first time around.

Planning a tour ahead of time is the best way to go and having someone you can rely on in worth a fortune…although his tour was very reasonable, depending on the amount of people you have. Do not think that you can just get there and hire a taxi driver….especially if you are cruising! The taxi drivers are ferocious…that’s another story. Put yourself in Ozgurs hands and you will have an amazing day in Turkey….worry free!

Happy Travels!!

Turkey Tours : I traveled to Turkey with 2 friends in June 2015. This was our first trip and the responsibility of planning the itinerary and making reservations fell upon my shoulders. Yuksel from Adavegas Travel was recommended to me by a friend who had used his services earlier.
Being in the travel profession myself in Canada, I set to book a custom tour wanting to do things our way and at our own pace. Booking high end travel for my own customers has made me fussy and I meant to deal with the best at the other end, also keeping in mind the complicated kind of touring I had in mind.
I would not have accomplished much had it not been for the expertise and professional guidance I received from Yuksel. He proved to be my solid rock of support. All our Turkey hotels, Turkey tours and Turkey transfers were reliably prearranged by him and turned out to be beyond our expectations. It was by no means an easy itinerary that I had worked out for 3 weeks traveling all across Turkey to unusual Tourist spots but Mohammad and Bruno Travel came through with flying colours. I had never met him and dealing via email and long distance telephone calls is not the easiest thing in unfamiliar surroundings. Adavegas Travel and Yuksel’s knowledge of Turkeyand tours in Turkey, personal interest in understanding my requirements and above all his supreme patience and calm manner to all the changes I caused are a testimonial to his elevated professionalism. I would highly recommend without hesitation services of Adavegas Travel and particularly those of Yuksel to anyone from any part of the world planning a trip to Turkey. Yuksel also owns the cutest boutique hotel – Sura Hagia Sophia Hotel – in the most sought after SultanAhmet area of Istanbul.

Our recent trip to Turkey (September 8-22) truly exceeded our expectations!
We came to Instanbul two days early to visit with a NEW friend we met on our Ada Vegas Travel Egypt trip last year!! He encouraged us to come to see his beloved country. Turkey was NOT on our list of places to visit, but we are SO glad we listened to him (Umut Kurt). THIS WAS OUR FAVORITE TRIP EVER!!

Turkey has so much history, not just of Turkey but of mankind itself. What a fabulous history lesson it was. Our tour director was Mr Ilkay Candar, He was unbelievably knowledgeable and prepared. We woke up each morning eagerly looking forward to our time with Ilkay!

I hope recent world events have not affected Turkey’s tourism! We have told many friends about our fabulous trips (Eastern Europe, Greece, Turkey) with Ada Vegas Travel and hope they will be calling you soon! YOU ARE THE BEST!!
Thanks,
Deborah and Fred Gatzke
