We toured Jordan from north to south and enjoyed every minute of it. Highlights were the city tour in Aaman, the walk through jerash, floating in the Dead Sea, viewing the river Jordan and the baptism site of Jesus Christ, walking the Petra canyon and climbing the 800 steps to the monastery, and trekking through wadi rum on camelback. We decided to employ a driver and a guide. The gentlemen were friends and had worked together numerous times. They were very knowledgable and shared a lot of history of Jordan. They also shared some favorite restaurants, castles, and tourist spots where we took some great photos.
