The attention from the staff on arrival said to me: “This is the place for me”
Fabulous suite with sea views, pool views, and the terrain views around the hotel. The hotel is spread on several levels. To get to the beach or your chosen restaurant or the Spa activities, a motorised buggy takes you anywhere you wish to go.
The very helpful staff are always available for all questions!
A delightful grand resort 10 minutes drive away from the noisy town of Bodrum.
I certainly will be back there sometime.

The hotel first of all is one of true astonishment and brilliance, especially the Maldivian rooms up. My concern was that I paid yo stay 3 days 2 weeks in advance and in full. I had a problem using my bank card for the room deposit and I felt like they made such an issue and that I would be refused to my room. They said eventually after suffering considerable embarrassment by the member of staff conversing with multiple colleagues and she even came with us to the room with the card machine in hand for the check-in to try again to take payment. Thankfully, my partners card worked. I had brought cash to pay for most things anyway but they wanted to take a considerable sum as cash and I didn’t want that because the deposit would be held and could not be sure whether I could use that deposit towards room service. I spent an incredible sum of money with the rooms costing between £600 and the last night £770 for just one night. I am told that staff typically earn 1000 Turkish new lira a month. Consider one night in sterling pays 1 staff’s salary for 4 or 5 months. i felt this unacceptable and actually really upset me, spoiling the first day because of unprofessionalism and greed.

Another incident happened in that the first 2 nights were in a room that did not include breakfast despite all others do. A detail I missed. After I had first breakfast. When I went to go back to the room after explaining that I would go to reception to find out whether there was a mistake on my part or not. As we left, we were met by the manager of the restaurant and he followed us to the lift down to reception. Again, more humiliation when I have paid an incredible sum of money that few would pay in a developed wealthy country, let alone a developing country as this where they are making untold fortunes and felt very angry at the extent of the greed and money-leeching having paid for my entire stay with debit card (not credit) 2 weeks earlier. On balance, an incredible hotel but the service at times was disgusting and I feel an urge to go back but then I remind myself of the inexperience of the hotel staff and management. This could be breathtakingly briliant but until then, I don’t think I will be going back having paid £770 for the final night in June 2015.

From the airport pick up till airport drop, everything was amazing. The hotel is beautifully located.
We went for school holiday in October. It is a palace to be honest. Everything is grand. The hotel staffs are very friendly. It feels like home. Food is very fresh and outstanding in the hotel. Special thanks Ismail, Baris, Azgur, Fatima, Bahar and Moharem who connects with all the guest in the hotel. We recommend the place and certainly we loved to go back.

Life is too short to just settle or compromise. If you stay at this Jumeirah resort you have made the right decision and have chosen the best . All your senses are heightened from the location, views, food, and the way you are treated by the caring friendly staff. My boyfriend and I spent 3 enlightened days in a Nobile Suite with private pool with great comfort, amenities and privacy. We enjoyed the varied offerings at breakfast and had delicious dinners at both the Italian and Lebanese restaurants. Jumeirah sets the standards that others should try to emulate. Your only decision will be when you want to return

My wife and I stayed at the resort for 5 days in July 2015. The hotel is set in a beautiful location and the property itself is second to none (we stay at the Four Seasons regularly).
There is truly the wow factor when one walks into the resort and this feeling continues to the rooms, pools and views.
We stayed in a suite with views overlooking the Agean and one could not hope for a better place to relax and unwind.
However it is apparent this is a new hotel and there were a few teething problems which I am sure can easily be overcome to make this one of the best hotels in the world. The main issue was the service across the the majority of the hotel with the exception of the Italian / Lebanese and Japanese restaurants.
There is a lack of English spoken throughout the hotel and one has to repeat themselves numerous times. There was no feeling of being special at the hotel compared to other hotels we have stayed at in this class. At breakfast – when asking for eggs to be made – I was told to ‘come back later as they were busy’. This is not something one expects when paying >500 Euros a night.
We spoke to the manager about this and they understood and were very nice about the situation.
I suspect give it 1-2 years and the service will be as good as the rest of the luxurious surroundings.
