This was our third time in istanbul, I returned to Lady Diana hotel after experimenting other hotels. The main attraction for me is the rooftop view from the restaurant, where I have my breakfast. Both Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are visible, but you can see as far as the skyscrapers in Taksim and Uskudar and watch the ships at sea. There had been some renovations after my last visit three years ago, the bathrooms had been modernised and the restaurant terrace fully covered, which prevents the seagulls from
attacking your food. The location is on a quiet street just off Sultanahmet tram stop and
facing a nearly abandoned office building.
Breakfast buffet served excellent fresh bread and vegetables, I have learned to eat
fetacheese with cucumber, now accompanied with tasty radish leaves in the morning
as the locals do.
I booked my room through their own website for a higher price than a turkish hotel chain
was offering in order to be sure that I get a streetview room with french balcony. Recommended!!

Our hotel in istanbul;
The hotel was comfortable. The location is the best thing about this hotel. All the main attractions were at walking distance from this hotel. The blue mosque,topkapi palace, Hagia Sophia, grand bazar all were at about 5-15 minutes walk away. There’s a nice restaurant at their rooftop which serves lovely breakfast in the mornings.

We were tempted into this restaurant by the charming host promising good food cooked by his mother. All the waiters went out of their way to make you feel relaxed and welcome. Food was excellent. Would definitely eat there again.

Took a chance on this hotel for our 3 nights stay in istanbul and it worked out so well. The location is just perfect for getting to all that Istanbul has to offer, the rooms are fine – street facing are a little smaller but have a balcony, the rooms at the rear of the hotel slighly larger. Breakfast is a grand affair with plenty of good food choices. The view from the 6th floor dining-room and bar is just stupendous. The staff were all so pleasant and all had a conversational level of English. Most notable was Varush, the Guest Relations Manager – he’s incredible; helpful, attentive and a really nice person. Room rates, considering it was peak season and the end of Ramadan.

Best hotel of istanbul.. We stayed here for a few nights before going to Bodrum.there is a huge choice of hotels in Istanbul,so we didn’t know what to expect. Well,we really were blown away. The position is excellent.right near the blue mosque,but in a really quiet street. The manager Varush was so professional and friendly. The breakfast was also so good,and the service excellent.
We come to Istanbul regularly,and would definitely use this hotel again. We got a great deal as well
