Pamukkale and Hierapolis is a beautifully constructed tour.
it balances History and Culture with Geology and Natural History and then allows enough time to relax, reflect and even re-juvenate in the waters!
This excursion allows you to visit Pamukkale and neighbouring Hierapolis.
Pamukkale is an example of mother nature at its best ! It is formed by hot thermal springs which poured down the hillside forming amazing terraces, Travertines of Carbonate minerals. The waters are famous for their medicinal properties.
Hierapolis is an Ancient city walking distance from Pamukkale.
UNESCO have warranted it a World Heritage Site, it was founded as an Ancient Healing Centre in 190B due to the healing properties of the waters.
You will also have time to wander Pamukkale and bathe yourself in the waters.
Lunch is taken in the hotel. After the excursion we transport you back to your hotel.

Tour Reviews
Fantastic Trip Had a great trip handled by Yuksel.Loved the way the attention was given to requirement and services rendered. The entire tour was handle with great professionalism Cheers to Yuksel and his service team.
Trip booked with Adavegas travel approx. Picked up outside our hotel at 8.30am. Knew it was a 3 hour journey so expected a comfort break enroute. No problem, only 20 mins. Arrived at Pamukkale. The sights were amazing, however we had less than 2 HOURS there, before being rushed off for a late lunch in a 5* hotel. This hotel, whilst being 5*, was obviously doing food for a price, catering for coach trips stopping off. The food was very average. We were there for almost 2 hours – time we’d have much rather spent at Pamukkale. In the time we had, we had to choose between going in Cleopatras pool or laying in the pools on the rock formations. There wasn’t time to see both, and no time to explore the ancient ruins. Luckily we’d seen Ephesus so could miss these out. We left the hotel for our 3 hour return journey, only to be told we were stopping at an onyx factory! More time lost! Half the people didn’t get off the coach. After that, we had another comfort break, fair enough. We were generally disappointed that the main feature was very rushed and was a fabulous place, in order to have a mediocre lunch. If you read this Adavegas, the trip is sold as Pamukkale! Give up on the lunch and sales stops and spend more time at this fantastic place!
In my pictures it looks like snow but is a limestone formation through which natural hot springs run. Part of the Pamukkale national park which includes the Roman theatre and other ruins and historical sites. The entire park overall is quite an experience and the Pamukkale travertines is a fabulous way to end of the day. You literally walk through travertines in shallow water. The water is warm but far too shallow to swim in. You can relax in it. The limestone rocks are not really slippery but be careful anyway as there is a dangerous drop on the right side. Going at sunset is an added bonus for great views.
