Visit the final home of the Virgin Mary.
Marvel at the library Of Celsus.
Take the stage at the great theatre.
It has to be noted that one of the main appeals of Kusadasi is its proximity to the ancient city of Ephesus, the best preserved classical city in the eastern Mediterranean. Cleopatra, Mark Antony, the Virgin Mary, and John the apostle once walked its streets.
This full-day guided tour from Kusadasi takes you to explore what is unquestionably one of the most significant sites of antiquity.
The largest open-air museum in Turkey, Ephesus contains more than 30 buildings and structures linked together by streets that still have the marks of ancient chariot wheels.
Your guide will show you the breathtaking great theatre, where St. Paul preached against the pagans and gladiators once engaged in battle.
Walk along marble street to the library of Celsus – the facade of which has been remarkably restored and is probably the most photographed exhibit in ephesus. you will also visit the temple of Hadrian, Roman baths, and many other remarkable ruins.
After Ephesus we take a short but scenic journey to the church of the Virgin Mary.
According to Christian tradition, Mary was brought to Ephesus by the apostle John after The resurrection of Christ and lived her final days here. This church was erected on the foundation of that house, and its authenticity has been confirmed by pope Paul VI And Pope John Paul II. Many visitors describe this as an uplifting or spiritual experience.
Finally we end the day at the site of the temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient World. Today there sre only a Series of columns and scattered ruins of this marvelous Hellenistic construction, though the grandeur of this colossal structure once exceeded that of the parthenon.
After the tour we escort you back to the port.

I would highly recommend anyone going to Kusadasi on a cruise on a limited schedule (or anyone else in the area for any other reason), to give Ada Vegas a shot.
My wife and I arrived in Kusadasi on a cruise ship on our honeymoon. With only a limited amount of time onshore, we were glad we glad we had made plans with Ada Vegas as it allowed us to maximize the experience.

Ephesus is a really cool experience. Walking through the old city, was amazing. Seeing the detail that was put into the walkways, and structures, was amazing. And of course, you can’t forget about the library. Really cool.
I can recommend this travel agent, we were picked up promptly by friendly driver, the transport was comfortable and cool although it was a hot hot day. The entrance to ephesus was painless no queing or hanging around. The tour guide was informative and interesting, giving us a great idea of what it was like to have lived in these magnificent ruins.

This guy Murat really knows his stuff, he was as wonderful guide. He know how to talk about the Ephesus and Turkey for academics and the layman. He takes all the questions with interest, has a great sense of humor. We felt safe with him, a decent man. Wonderful time on the ruins.
Amazing place. We were on an organised tour direct from cruise ship and got there early in the morning …essential to avoid the crowds and/or heat later in the day. fascinating place…had no idea it was so large but easy to get around with your guide. Very well preserved/restored in places. And they are still discovering more! A must if in this area. Loved the Roman public toilets & library and of course the amphitheatre. Much to discover. Thanks to Adavegas Travel
Visited this past May and was extremely pleased with this world heritage site. Wonderfully informative tour combined with breathtaking display of ancient Greek and Roman civilization and now it’s easier imagine the Bible accounts related with Ephesus. It’s a weel preserved city. It’s very clean and enjoyable.
Our Best Ephesus Private Tour from Kusadasi port! We found Ada Vegas travel from google. About 3 months before our journey i sent an inquiry Mr umut answered all my questions And we decided to book a private Ephesus Tour. There were 6 of us on a private tour. I arranged everything online and reconfirmed before our cruise departed. We were greeted exactly like promised in a private A/C late model van. It was wonderful doing exactly what we wanted to do unlike the cruise tours. Recommended surely…
My husband and I saw all these wonderful reviews for Ada Vegas on trip advisor and decided to book our tour through them. It being our first time traveling to Turkey and living overseas, we wanted to ensure we got the best and we did! Our tour guides name was Nico and he really went above and beyond to ensure our tour under his supervision was memorable… Which it was. It was especially memorable because he designed the tour based on our needs.
I didn’t know what to expect in Turkey, but I have to say it was a highlight of our trip! My husband and I took a Mediterranean in cruise for our honeymoon and one of our stops was Kusadasi, Turkey. I am SO happy we booked our tour with Adavegas Travel.
Incredible trip! Recommend the guide Murat highly, he was fantastic, most informed and polite guide we’ve ever had.
