We would highly recommend the Sultania Hotel to everyone and will definitely be staying here again when we return to Istanbul! The friendliness of the hotel staff sets it apart from other establishments. The hotel concierge Arafa and Mujfan from guest relations provided us with expert advice to all our questions regarding locations to visit and dining recommendations. Our knowledge of the Turkish language expanded quickly as our waiter Yavus provided us with phrases of the day during breakfast each morning. My daughter was even given a gozleme cooking lesson from the hotel chef Aysun simply because she mentioned that this is one of her favourite dishes. The family sized hotel room was spacious, beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. We dined at the Olive Restaurant on the first evening as we arrived into Istanbul late. The food was excellent and well priced. The hotel is well located and the major Old City attractions (Cistern, Blue Mosque, Topaki Palace) are easily accessible within 10 minute walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Istanbul and time at the Sultania Hotel.

This hotel is centrally located just a stone throw from most of the major attractions of Istanbul. The only down side is having to run the gauntlet of restaurant pimps every time you enter or leave the hotel. However, this was a common theme throughout Istanbul and is a small price to pay for a clean, very comfortable, well appointed boutique hotel with good amenities.

The courteous, warm and friendly staff are only too happy to provide tips on where to find a good authentic meal, attractions to visit, and things to do, and went out of their way to make my young neices feel very welcome – a personalised breakfast every morning.

I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others!

From the moment we checked into the hotel the customer service was outstanding. Mujgan the guest relations manager gave excellent tips for places to eat and dishes to try for a unique Turkish experience. A special mention too for the catering staff. Aysun the chef made omlettes to our request each morning while Javuz and Dilek were especially attentive – teaching us Turkish sayings over breakfast. While the hotel itself is excellent due to its location, close to all of the major attractions in Sultanahmet it is truely the outstanding staff and excellent customer service that make this hotel an excellent choice.

Room was beautiful and well maintained by the housekeeping staff. We got turkish delight in our room every day.
Restaurant staff was very attentive during our breakfasts, which was nice. The food was nice as well.
The people who staffed the front desk were nice and well-informed too, which helped us make good choices about where to go within the city. Would recommend the hotel strongly.

My wife and I stayed at the Sultania from Friday 1st Jan to Monday 4th Jan 2016, and from the moment we arrived we received excellent service and a real friendly welcome , even thought we arrived late at night.
The rooms are very comfortable, and if you need
anything then the reception staff and guest relations are amazing and respond straight away.
The breakfast restaurant and staff make you feel as if you are part of the family.
We used the olive restaurant twice for evening dinner, and received the same level of exceptional service as the rest of the hotel.
The food was very high quality, so there is no need to venture out if the weather is bad as you probably have one of the best restaurants on your doorstep.
The hotel location is superb with all the major attractions within walking distance.
We will defiantly be returning again this year.
Many thanks to all the staff for making our stay so special.

Hotel Sultania is located centrally in the Old Town – the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar are all about 10 minutes walk away. The hotel is welcoming and a relaxing place to be. The restaurant on the top floor serves great food and the view is fantastic. It has a small gym, pool, sauna etc. And the massages offered are reasonably priced.
The best part of our trip was the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. They were fantastic, always trying to help and ready with ideas and suggestions on what to do. A great team!
